Community Programs

Engaging the community to create a long term impact.

We prevented 1,200 unwanted births in 2023

Humane programs are the only way to see a long lasting change to the horrific overpopulation problem witnessed by travelers worldwide. We must be their voice to end the cycle of suffering once and for all.

What is the Camotes Aspin Project?

Camotes Aspin Project (CAP) is a non profit organization that provides veterinary resources and education to the governing bodies and residents of Camotes- Specifically in the area of dog population management. Our mission will replace current inhumane population control methods with sustainable and humane strategies. CAP programs are the foundation of change for our community of suffering and voiceless animals.

Clinics

Before the Aspin Project, there were no accessible island veterinary services. We offer accessible services including sterilization, education, consultation and vaccination.

Fostering Program

Rescue and rehoming wouldn’t be possible without Bayron and his home sanctuary. It’s part of our mission to invest in better shelter, food and medicines to rescue and rehome street animals.

Community Programs & Education

ICAM has the most comprehensive data reports, surveys, tools and guides for roaming dog evaluation. We use them guide our efforts in order to integrate CAP into government programs and educate everyone involved.

Passionate Founders

We’re all about empowerment, not pressure. We bring together a diverse team of locals and internationals who share a passion for making a difference.

A Community That Cares

Without resources, community members can’t help their animals. We aim to bridge that gap, providing the tools and support needed for individuals to care for their pets.

Diverse Partnerships

Partnering with those who directly benefiting from our cause and already share our mission. By engaging with a range of stakeholders, we create a collective force for positive change.

Surgical Staff

Our veterinary teams are proud members of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association. CAP collaborates with student veterinarians, offering them the chance to apply their skills.

Tourism Partnerships

By partnering with tourism, we cover travel costs for our veterinary teams. This offers hospitality partnerships the chance to become humane partners while vets can enjoy their stay on the island.

Education

Empowering adult owners and the next generation. By teaching locals how to create impact, we aim to contribute to a brighter future. Our goal is to integrate our education programs into schools and local government.
