Clinics
Why clinics?
Our island wide mission will replace current inhumane population control methods with sustainable and humane strategies. we provide educational and vetrinary services to engage the local community in animal welfare programs. CAP programs will effectively reduce the population of roaming dogs and cats to humanely end the cycle of suffering
Tourism is the key economic development for the future of the island. It’s also the key to our success. The key to implement sustainable change that actually works for our islands demographic.
Thanks to government approval, several kind supporters and local collaboration with food vendors, we can put nearly 100% of our donations to our sterilization clinics and life saving medicine.
Ever since I started this project I have had one goal in mind.. To not become just a solution to a problem. But to engage and work with the community to make this project theirs. I want us to build it together so that it is not just my privilege of being able to help that makes the change. The Camotes Aspin Project belongs to the people of Camotes. To make that a reality I want it to belong to them. Right now, we are building it together. With every day that passes I’m learning more about them and how to get an already struggling community to embrace our mission.
A misconception I had before starting this project is that most of them don’t care about dogs. How untrue that was. This past weekend, we brought together compassionate owners and got to hear their stories. People who want more educating and more understanding. All they needed someone to listen and plan with them.
